Probably the most common problem call I get from clients is “Hey, I can’t save my emails to Pc Law. My Outlook isn’t connected to Pc Law anymore.

Normally (not always) the solution is simple.

In MS Outlook, go to the Help menu. There should be a “Disabled Items” menu item. If there is not, try selecting “Help> About” and you should see a “Disabled Items” button.

You will most likely find “ploutcom.dll” listed which means that Outlook is preventing Pc Law from interacting with Outlook. Click “ploutcom.dll” and click the “Enable” button.

Close MS Outlook, wait a few seconds and then re-open it.

In most cases, this will solve the problem. If not, get in touch with your PCLaw contractor.
